Why ASAR was created?

At Asar.care, our journey began with something deeply personal. When my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, I had to travel from Canada to India to get him the urgent care he needed. What should have been a healing journey turned into an overwhelming struggle.

I found myself lost in endless decisions, which hospital to trust, where to find safe accommodation near treatment centers, how to arrange vital equipment like oxygen concentrators, and how to get medicines that were often unavailable nearby. Even basic things like nutritious meals, local phone connections, or arranging a medical attendant became stressful challenges.

On top of this, we faced unclear costs, a lack of guidance, and very little empathy from service providers. It felt like every step came with hidden hurdles and uncertainty, that too at a time when my family should have been focused only on my father’s health.

That experience changed me. I realized that thousands of families face the same struggles every year when they travel for medical care. There had to be a better way.

This is why I started Asar.care. Our mission is simple:
